Presenting Global Speakers, Telkom AI Center Padang Discusses AI Tools for Remote Income
Through AI Connect Padang, the Telkom AI Center provides practical learning and live demonstrations on the use of AI to support productivity and global work.
Telkom AI Center of Excellence Padang is again holding the AI Connect Offline Series entitled “Build Faster, Work Global: AI Tools for Remote Income” at the Telkom AI Center Padang. This activity highlights the role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool to speed up work processes while opening up global job opportunities through schemes remote work which is increasingly relevant in the digital era.
Presenting Will Oak Wild, AI/ML Engineer and instructor from the United States, this activity provides practical insights regarding the use of various AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and the GitHub ecosystem in supporting remote work productivity and collaboration. The material presented is not only theoretical, but is also equipped with direct demonstrations, so that participants can understand its real application.
This activity was attended by around 50 participants consisting of workers, students and the general public. The enthusiasm of the participants was seen from their activeness in the discussion session, including various questions regarding career opportunities in the field of AI and readiness to face increasingly rapid developments in digital technology.
In his presentation, Will emphasized that challenges in starting a career in the AI field are normal, but should not be a barrier to development. “Entering this field is not easy. But what makes the difference is not talent, but consistency. Keep trying until you succeed, and don’t stop learning,” he said. He also highlighted the importance of being prepared to face increasingly rapid technological developments.
“AI is not something to be afraid of. In fact, it is a tool that will help us work faster and wider. In the future, the ability to use AI will become a necessity. Without it, it will be increasingly difficult to compete in the digital work world,” he added.
Apart from seminar sessions, this activity is also equipped with direct practice which provides a more comprehensive learning experience for participants. This approach is expected to help people understand not only the concept, but also the application of AI in real work contexts, including in work schemes remote which opens access to global markets.
Mizan Lazuardi, as Telkom AI Connect Program Lead, said that this activity was part of an effort to expand access to inclusive and applicable digital literacy. “We see great potential for local talent, including in Padang, to be able to compete at the global level. Through AI Connect, we want to open access to knowledge and direct practice so that people not only understand technology, but are also able to use it to create opportunities, including in work schemes remote,” he said.
Through this activity, Telkom AI Center Padang emphasizes its commitment to encouraging inclusive digital transformation. A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
