Pamali: Tumbal for the audience shouted hysterically in the cinema

Jakarta, August 19, 2025 – Pamali: Tumbal, the latest film from Lyto Pictures, seized the attention of the public since the premiere on August 7, 2025 in theaters. This film is an adaptation of the popular Indonesian horror game titled “Pamali: The Little Devil”, and directed by Bobby Prasetyo and written Evelyn Afnilia.

Pamali: Tumbal revives a different and very scary depiction of tuyul, along with a very dangerous black kuntilanak. Every airing takes place, a scream of fear, laughter, and tears of emotion can be heard from the audience who witnessed the story of the princess (played by Keisynevronka) in saving her mother (played by Nai Djenar Maisa Ayu).

Pamali: Tumbal tells the story of the daughter (Keisya Levronka) who sought her mysterious lost mother after taking sacrifice on the road because it is squeezed by economic problems. Together with two of his friends, Kiki (Ummi Quary) and Cecep (Fajar Nugra), Putri tried to find the truth, which turned out to bring them into the haunted forest, old factory, to mysterious houses inhabited by Tuyul, Black Kuntilanak, and other scary creatures.

But behind all the terror, a big question arises: Is there a Pamali or the traditional prohibition that they do to cause this disaster?

In addition to Keisya Levronka, Fajar Nugra, and Ummi Quary, the film also stars Nai Djenar Maisa Ayu, Verdi Sulaeman, Dominique Sanda, Krishna Keitaro, Ben Bening and Aldean “Deankt” Tegar Gemilang.
