13th Day of Nataru Post, KAI Divre III Palembang Transports 48,176 Passengers, Sindang Marga Train Tickets Still Available Until January 4

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division III Palembang continues to provide optimal service during the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) transportation period. Until the 13th day of the Command Post, or the period 18 to 30 December 2025, KAI Divre III Palembang recorded that it had transported 48,176 passengers. This figure has increased by 14 percent compared to the same period in 2024 of 42,415 passengers.

Palembang Division III Public Relations Manager, Aida Suryanti said that the increasing public interest in train services has become a strong encouragement for KAI to continue to maintain safety, comfort and punctuality of travel during the year-end holiday period.

“KAI Divre III Palembang strives to provide the best service for customers amidst the high mobility of society. The increase in the number of passengers during this year’s Christmas period reflects customer confidence in safe and comfortable modes of rail transportation,” said Aida.

For the busiest transportation up to the 13th day, it was recorded that on December 28 2025 it carried 3,979 or 138% of the seats provided per day of 2,980 seats.

Apart from travel data, KAI Divre III also provides information on the latest conditions for ticket availability for the Christmas holiday period until January 4 2026.

For PSO (Public Service Obligation) tickets:

* Bukit Serelo train, Kertapati–Lubuklinggau (PP): sold out until January 4 2026

* Rajabasa train from Kertapati to Tanjungkarang: sold out until January 4 2026

*As for the Sindang Marga Commercial Train, tickets are still available for several departure dates:

Kertapati–Lubuklinggau Relations (S1):*

* December 31, 2025: 60% available

* January 1, 2026: 30% available

* January 2, 2026: 38% available

* January 3, 2026: 34% available

* January 4, 2026: expired

Lubuklinggau–Kertapati Relations (S2):

* December 31, 2025: 45% available

* January 1, 2026: 47% available

* January 2, 2026: 22% available

* January 3, 2026: 33% available

* January 4, 2026: 55% available

“We urge customers to immediately book tickets while quotas are still available so that year-end holiday travel can be enjoyed more comfortably with the family,” continued Aida.

KAI also emphasized that people should place orders through official channels such as the Access by KAI application, the KAI website, and other official agents to ensure transaction security and ease of service.
