Communication is not just talking: Pusaka Foundation Presents a communication transformation session for KAI employees

The PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Pusaka Foundation held an inspirational sharing session entitled “Check Your Communication Capability”, on June 3, 2025 as part of the employee competency development program. The activity took place at the Auditorium of the Head Office of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung and presents two expert speakers in the field of communication.

In the opening remarks, Rosma Handayani, Director of HR & General PT KAI, highlighted the importance of communication in the context of leadership and harmonization of work.

“Communication does not only convey messages, but how we align our hearts and minds. The success of a leader is more determined by ideas and ideas in communicating to maintain team collaboration, not just technical abilities,” he said.

Meanwhile, Joko Margono, Chairperson of the Pusaka Foundation, added that this session was part of the monthly program which was consistently carried out for the development of internal human resources.

This session presents Ika Sastrosoebroto, a communication expert, who explores the basic aspects to the challenges of modern communication, such as wHats are communication, why this is important, talking: sound/noiseAs well as how technology can be a challenging disruptive factor in conveying messages.

In addition, presenting Andri Nooriman, a branding expert who highlighted the psychological dimensions and communication strategies with the Minds, Moods, Who’s The Target approach, as well as the importance of delivering messages at the Right Time.

The discussion took place dynamic and interactive. Participants are invited to evaluate their respective communication skills, understand the emotional context in delivering messages, to the way of adapting to technological changes that affect communication patterns in the workplace.

With high enthusiasm of participants, this event proves that communication is not just a technical tool, but a key strategy in creating a healthy, synergistic, and oriented work environment.
