Mobee invited MH Thamrin University students to understand the future of digital investments and web3

Jakarta, June 12, 2025 – Mobee held an educational seminar titled “Learn, Earn, and Explore Web3” on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the main campus of MH Thamrin University, Pondok Gede, East Jakarta. The event which was attended by more than 100 participants was part of the “Zero To Crypto” education campaign, a collaboration between Mobee and Tether which aims to encourage crypto literacy among Indonesian young generations.

In seminar sessions and talk shows, participants are invited to understand the fundamentals of crypto, the difference between web2 and web3, as well as safe tips to start the digital asset investment journey. The speakers present included Eko Mamahit (web3 educator), Herry Hermawan (Crypto Analyst Mobee), Lukas Lauw (CFX Director), and Asih Karnengsih (Aspakrindo Chairperson), with a session guided by a moderator from Mobee and MH Thamrin University.

“The event took place in an interesting format, begins with a presentation from community representatives and continued with a discussion session with all speakers. The audience’s enthusiasm is seen from various critical questions delivered throughout the event. This kind of activity is feasible to be held regularly, especially by involving students from various other universities,” said Lukas Lauw, Director of CFX.

Asih Karnengsih, Chairperson of Aspakrindo, added, “We support collaboration like this because it is in line with the efforts of associations in expanding public understanding of the potential of digital blockchain technology and assets.”

Meanwhile, representatives from Mobee, Herry Hermawan, said, “Through the Zero to Crypto campaign, we want to help students understand crypto from scratch, until they are ready to explore their opportunities safely and responsibly.”

This event also presents a variety of interesting activities and e-certificates for all participants. More than just a seminar, this initiative is part of Mobee’s commitment in encouraging inclusive digital financial education and literacy in Indonesia.

As a continuation of this initiative, Mobee and Tether have also designed similar educational programs that will be presented at various other universities in Indonesia.
