More than 53 thousand 30% discount tickets sold, KAI Daop 8 Surabaya urges customers to immediately secure tickets before they run out

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Area 8 Surabaya noted the high level of public enthusiasm for the 30 percent train ticket discount program for the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) transportation period. As of December 8 2025, 53,447 discount tickets have been sold in the Daop 8 Surabaya area.

The high level of public interest shows that trains remain a safe, comfortable and reliable mode of transportation during the peak year-end holiday period. In this program, KAI Daop 8 Surabaya provides a total of 171,444 seats at a discount rate of 30 percent, which are allocated for travel using commercial economy class trains. The program includes 25 Regular Commercial Trains and 3 Additional Commercial Trains which are prepared to support smooth customer mobility throughout the Christmas period.

Terms and Conditions for the Nataru 30% Discount Program:

– Ticket purchases can be made through all official KAI sales agents, including the Access by KAI application, KAI website, minimarkets and other sales partners.

– Order period: 21 November 2025 – 10 January 2026, while supplies last.

– Valid for departures: 22 December 2025 – 10 January 2026.

– Valid specifically for commercial economy class trains.

– Not valid for special rates and cannot be combined with other promotions.

– Tickets can still be canceled or schedule changed according to applicable policies.
