Protikihutan achieved a target of 1 million trees, these are those who support their success

Semarang, May 14, 2025 – Greening Movement initiated by Protikihutan incised important achievements: one million trees were successfully planted in various regions of Indonesia. This success is not only a number, but a real representation of the collaboration of various elements of society for the recovery of the environment and the future of the earth.

Until now, Protikihutan has partnered with more than 600+ companies, 1,500 community groups, and 40,000 individuals. Thousands of greening campaigns have been carried out in more than 300 planting locations, including coastal areas, landslide -prone areas, to protected forests.

This achievement strengthens the contribution of protective in climate change mitigation. Based on research by FAO (2022), one adult tree can absorb an average of 21 kg of carbon dioxide per year. With one million trees, the potential absorption of CO2 emissions reaches around 21,000 tons per year.

This success cannot be separated from the support of various parties who are members of the protected ecosystem. These include raising, supporters, local farmers’ partners, environmental communities, donors who play a role in providing financial support, as well as volunteers who descend directly in the field, ranging from planting to environmental education.

This collaboration shows that the tree planting movement is not just symbolic, but is also a form of ecological mutual cooperation that can have a real, economic, economic, and environmental impact.
