PTPP Completes Tarempa Regional Hospital, Supports Government’s Asta Cita to Strengthen Health Services in Outermost Areas


PT PP (Persero) Tbk (“PTPP”), a national construction and investment company, continues to demonstrate its role in supporting the development of national strategic infrastructure by completing the construction of the Tarempa Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Anambas Islands Regency, Riau Islands Province.

The completion of the Tarempa Hospital project is a concrete manifestation of PTPP’s contribution in supporting the Government’s Asta Cita, especially in encouraging equitable distribution of health services to the outermost regions and borders of Indonesia, in line with efforts to improve the quality of life of the community in an inclusive manner.

The Tarempa Regional Hospital project is part of the Fast Best Results Program (PHTC/Quick Wins) Health Sector, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Worked with a scheme design and buildThis project has a contract value of IDR 186.24 billion (including 11% VAT) and will be implemented in the period 28 February to 20 December 2025. All work was successfully completed 100% on time, on time, on quality and on cost, with 0% deviation, reflecting PTPP’s capability in managing national strategic projects.

Company Secretary PTPP, Joko Raharjo, explained that the construction of the Tarempa Regional Hospital was focused on upgrading the hospital class from Class D to Class C, and was equipped with various modern medical facilities, including operating rooms, inpatient and intensive care rooms, radiology units, to cath lab. “The presence of Tarempa Hospital is expected to reduce dependence on patient referrals from outside the area while improving the quality of health services for the people of Anambas Islands Regency,” said Joko.

Furthermore, Joko added that the project was successfully completed in the region remote area This geographical and maritime logistical challenge emphasizes PTPP’s role as a reliable construction BUMN in providing vital infrastructure. Tarempa Hospital is also listed as the first project in PHTC Group 1 which carried out the Minutes of Handover (BAST-1), as a form of PTPP’s commitment to supporting the national development agenda that is sustainable and equitable to all corners of the country.

With the completion of the Tarempa Regional Hospital, PTPP hopes that this contribution can strengthen the government’s efforts in realizing equitable distribution of quality and sustainable health services, especially for communities in the outermost regions of Indonesia.
