Semester I 2025, Performance of the Flow of Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Tanjung Emas Flow Increases 32%
Semarang, July 2025 – PT Pelindo Multi Terminal which is one of the subholding of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) recorded positive performance in the first semester of 2025 when compared to the previous period. This performance is supported by the realization of the total flow of non -container for the first semester of 2025 which increased by 9% by 2,390,879 tons at the Port of Tanjung Emas when compared to the realization in the same period in 2024 of 2,194,103 tons.
Branch Manager of Pelindo Multi Terminal Tanjung Emas Branch, Hardianto said that this achievement could not be separated from synergy with business partners, improvement of operational efficiency, and improvement of terminal infrastructure that support the smooth flow of logistics. “The realization of the total flow of non -electrocution goods for domestic (domestic) trade in the first semester of 2025 in tons of tons was reached by 1,736,481 tons. When compared to the realization in the same period in 2024 it increased by 13% in tons,” he explained.
Hardianto further explained that the increase in the commodity of the flow of goods in the form of liquid bulk and dry bulk. On the other hand, liquid bulk increased by 31.01% by 732,554 tons when compared to 2024 of 559,177 tons. Still in the same unit, dry bulk also increased by 18.61% which was realized in 2025 as many as 1,423,387 tons if you see a comparison in 2024 of 1,200,094 tons. “In line with this increase, we will continue to improve infrastructure and services. Thus, the loading and unloading process can run more smoothly,” said Hardianto.
In addition to the flow of goods, Hardianto also conveyed the positive performance of the port that recorded the flow of ship visits in the first semester of 2025 in the GT (Gross Tonnage) unit of 5,535,530 GT which increased 7% when compared to the realization of the first semester of 2024. 2024. This achievement is in line with the increase in the visit of General Cargo ships with corn loading and unloading commodities, fertilizers, rice, animal feed, Palm Kernel Expeller and increasing the visit of barges & tugboats with sand commodities, coconut shells and coal until June 2025.
“We are very optimistic about the performance and growth potential shown in the first half of this year. This is a positive indicator for the activities of the Tanjung Emas Port and our contribution to the national economy,” he explained.
In addition, Hardianto also said that related to the performance of foreign non -drug goods services for dry bulk commodities in T/G/H units (tons/gang/hour) also increased when compared to the same period the previous year. Realization of dry bulk productivity in the first semester of 2025 amounted to 148.19 t/g/h which increased by 13% when compared to the realization of the first semester of 2024 which was realized by 131.17 t/g/h.
Meanwhile, the performance of domestic non -electrocution services for general cargo commodities, liquid bulk, dry bulk in T/G/H units also increased when compared to the same period the previous year. Realization of general cargo productivity up to the first semester of 2025 amounted to 131.16 t/g/h or increased by 12% when compared to the realization of 2024 which was realized 117.33 t/g/h.
As for the productivity of dry bulk in the first semester of 2025 of 116.34 t/g/h which increased by 32% when compared to the realization of the first semester of 2024 which was realized at 88.35 t/g/h. In addition, the realization of the productivity of the first semester of 2025 liquid bulk of 128.90 t/g/h increased by 22% when compared to the realization of 2024 of 105.87 T/g/H.
