
So AI Generation: Binus University Encourages AI Technology Collaboration and Creativity with Microsoft in the Digital Era for Bandung and West Java
Bandung, April 24, 2025 – Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an inseparable part of modern life. From content recommendation systems to work automation features, AI encourages acceleration in various industrial lines and daily activities. This change requires the presence of a generation that not only understands technology, but is also able to create AI -based creative solutions.
As part of its commitment in the field of Creative Technology, Binus @Bandung held a Studium Generale Roadshow with the theme “The Next Ai Generation”, presenting speakers from Microsoft Indonesia and Greatnusa. This event was not only attended by Binus (Binusian) students, but also by high school students and students from various universities in Bandung, who were enthusiastic about broadening their insights about the role of AI in the world of today and the future.
This activity is part of the large program Elevile Indonesia as a result of Binus University collaboration with Microsoft and Greatnusa. This program targets 100,000 participants from various groups to get free AI training, while strengthening national digital literacy and printing innovative and adaptive generations of Indonesia.
“As a campus that focuses on Creative Technology, Binus @Bandung plays an important role in printing talents that not only master AI, but are also able to process it into works, solutions, and innovations,” said Dr. Johan Muliadi Kerta, S.Kom., MM as Director of the Binus @Bandung campus.
Through presentation and discussion sessions, participants are invited to understand how technology such as Microsoft Copilot embedded in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams can strengthen human and machine collaboration in work and learning.
“AI is not only about the sophistication of technology, but about how we use it to empower every individual-starting from students to professionals-so that they can innovate ethically, creatively, and responsibly. Through this Elevite Indonesia, we take concrete steps to open the widest possible access so that Indonesian young people can become reliable talents in the AI era,” added Arief Suseno as Director of AI National Skills Microsoft Indonesia.
Robby Susanto as VP Product and Partnership Greatnusa also emphasized that access to AI literacy must be evenly distributed, not only for the campus environment. “Through our Elevile and Digital Platform, we want to reach more individuals both high school children, students, and the general public so that they can be empowered and compete in the digital age.”
Binus University continues to show his leadership as an institution that not only focuses on academics, but also on the development of future skills. With an approach that combines technology and creativity, this event reflects the vision of Binus in printing superior talents in the digital economy era, as well as strengthening its contribution to the 2045 Indonesia gold.
